Say what you will about the value of fashion as wearable art but these photos by Raphael Dallaporta add an interesting element to the discussion. These striking fashion images from Stilleto Magazine require no model and no makeup artist.

Fashion shows exist because it is important to see the clothing on a model, to see it move, in order appreciate the clothing and the workmanship that goes into creating it. But here Dallaporta has found a new way to display the integrity and the art of a designer garment. These images were captured while these dresses suspended underwater. K$

Move over Louboutin, the new fall deliveries at Seven from Nicholas Kirkwood are prepped to stiletto smack your cherry soled favorites. He has collaborated with Rodarte, Chloe, and Gareth Pugh and stuns in snakeskin, Swarovski, and a touch of S&M.

His brand signature angled wedge platform will inspire jealously from all your less fortunate friends and the extra padded soles and sturdy plastic grips on each pair will help you to not fall flat on your face. ROX

This is a piece from Julishland’s “Forest” collection. I adore this bonsai ring. There is a wonderful fantasy quality to it. The fabrication is so realistic it wouldn’t be hard to imagine a real bonsai growing right there on you finger. K$

WODE

Soon you’ll be able to tag the nape of your neck in blue each morning and earn the aura of a deadly shrub. That’s certainly a step up from simply spritzing on the drab new Marc by Marc (by Marc) daisy concoction.

Cobalt stained eau de hemlock will soon be the new Chanel No. 5 once Boudicca’s new fragrance, Wode, launches this month at Barneys (currently only available in mainland London). The concept is inspired by historical blue war paint and the self-poisoning suicide of the Brit designers’ namesake Queen Boadicea. But then they threw in the graffiti spray can packaging and notes of juniper for street and shelf appeal.

I personally could care less how this shit smells. The non-staining, fade-away cobalt color gimmick is enough to make me stand in line and shell out a couple hundred bucks (Brits are getting it for £65) for a few ounces. I’m sold.

If you’re not yet, just watch the ad at here. ROX
